“Kept on Course: What We’ve Learned in This Season
Recent events have brought both loss and gain.
It’s tempting to see these kinds of shifts in ministry as purely negative—especially when something familiar or dear is removed. But we’ve come to see them differently. Through the shaking, we’ve found clarity. Through the pain, purpose. God has used it to shape our course.
Every loss helped sharpen our focus. It revealed what God was adding, and what He was gently taking away—so that His ministry, His message, would become more effective.
We’ve been kept on course. And the truth is, there’s nothing to go back to.
One of my favourite songs captures the heart of this season:
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning.”
We didn’t expect such a big change. But now we can see the grace of God clearly in it all. For everything that was taken—no matter how it happened—God’s faithfulness has remained.
He has a place for every one of us. We pray that everyone finds their place and thrives in the commission God has given them… just as we’re learning to thrive in ours.
Maybe you’re wondering, What actually happened?
On one hand—we don’t fully know. But on the other hand, we’ve seen what it became: a moment of sharpening, of clarification, of divine direction.
That’s our takeaway. And this is what we’re building on
